Base pay range

$18.00/hr - $18.00/hr

  • $200 Hiring Bonus after 90 Days**


Position Available: Full Time Lead Custodian - 2nd Shift

Scheduled: Monday through Friday, 2:30pm to 11:00pm at Holly Area School District

Wage: $18.30/hour

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist with overseeing and directing custodial staff assigned to the school building.
  • Research and resolve problems related to facilities operational issues.
  • Set-up and take-down for numerous special events.
  • Evaluate and verify employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and work techniques.
  • Coordinate activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of custodians.
  • Assign needed coverage, give special cleaning instructions and/or assignments
  • Identify staff development and training needs and ensure training is obtained.
  • Make rounds to check for crew coverage and designated work area.
  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all equipment, tools and supplies needed to perform site functions.
  • Follow all safety standards as outlined in company policy and OSHA regulations.
  • Additional duties as assigned or needed.


Position Requirements:

  • Previous custodial/ janitorial experience.
  • GED/High School Diploma
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to follow basic verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Must have valid driver’s license
  • Flexible availability
