Job summary

Surepoint ER is seeking a qualified Radiology Specialist with CT experience and active ARRT/Texas MRT licenses. The role requires BLS certification, strong patient care, and the ability to work across shifts in a fast-paced environment.

The position involves radiology and lab responsibilities, including quality assurance, safety procedures, and collaboration with nursing and clerical staff to ensure smooth patient flow. Superior interpersonal skills and meticulous documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT license in good standing and Texas MRT license in good standing.
• Ability to perform CT procedures without supervision and to assist with sterile procedures.
• Active BLS certification and ongoing CE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for X-ray and CT procedures and explain the procedure.
• Position patients and ensure immobilization and safety measures.
• Perform radiology quality assurance tests and document results.
• Maintain radiology room cleanliness and equipment readiness.
• Assist front-end staff with registration and basic clerical duties.
• Read and write medical terminology accurately.
• Work across day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Lead duties include scheduling, coverage, and inventory management.
