Job summary

Surepoint Medical Centers in Rowlett, TX is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with CT experience to join our full-time team. You will perform x-ray and CT procedures, maintain safety standards, and document results in the EMR system while supporting lab and clerical duties as needed.

The ideal candidate is ARRT and Texas MRT licensed, with CT experience and BLS; ACLS is a plus. Must be able to work varied shifts and pass background checks in a fast-paced diagnostic center.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and licensed where applicable.
• CT scanning clinical experience is required and documentation is expected.
• Ability to perform CT procedures without constant supervision.
• Ability to assist with sterile techniques for specialized procedures.
• Active ARRT license in good standing and Texas MRT license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for X-ray and CT scans, explain procedures, and ready room and equipment.
• Position patients and ensure immobilization for imaging; observe and report patient status.
• Maintain radiology quality control and safety, including radiation protection practices.
• Complete documentation in patient charts and clinic EMR systems.
• Assist front-end staff as needed and support lab and clerical duties as directed.
• Be able to work across day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as required.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

Clinical CT experience

Ability to perform CT procedures without constant supervision

Ability to assist with sterile procedures

Current ARRT license in good standing

Current Texas MRT license in good standing

Current BLS certification

ACLS certification a plus

Continuing education hours required for license renewal

Pass background checks

At least 2 years Radiology/CT experience (preferred)
