Job summary

PIH Health Whittier is hiring a Lead CT Technologist for a full-time, 10-hour variable shift. You will oversee daily CT operations and coordinate patient exams and staffing under Radiology leadership.

The ideal candidate has ARRT CT, CA CRT, CPR/BLS, and 4 years of acute care CT experience, with a strong focus on QA, protocol optimization, and patient safety. You will drive continuous improvement of imaging processes and serve as a resource for CT Technologists in a cooperative hospital

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification is required.
• State of California CRT.
• CPR/BLS: American Heart Association.
• Four (4) years of acute care CT scanning experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient exams and staffing across the CT modality.
• Serve as a resource for CT Technologists and lead QA tasks.
• Oversee regulatory compliance and hospital requirements for CT imaging.
• Continuously evaluate departmental processes and exam protocols.

Lead CT Technologist, Full Time, 10 Hour, Variable Shift

CT Technologist, Lead is responsible for daily operation of the Computed Tomography imaging modality with general oversight from Radiology Advanced Imaging Manager and/or designee. This position is responsible for coordinating patient exams and staffing assignments and serves as a resource for CT Technologists. This position leads Quality Assurance tasks and initiatives within the modality to ensure regulatory and hospital requirements are met, including continuous evaluation of departmental processes and exam protocols. This position demonstrates mastery of all hospital and clinical level imaging competencies.
