PIH Health is seeking a CT Technologist for a full-time night shift (10 hours) in Whittier, CA. The role focuses on performing CT exams with emphasis on image quality, patient safety and comfort while minimizing radiation exposure.

The ideal candidate holds CA CRT, ARRT CT certification, venipuncture and CPR/BLS, with several years of diagnostic radiography and CT experience in an acute care setting. EOE.

Qualifications

• State of California CRT license required.
• ARRT CT certification required.
• Venipuncture certification or training preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Clinical radiography experience in acute care: 3+ years.
• CT experience in acute care: 1+ year.

Responsabilités

CT Technologist, Full Time, 10 Hour, Night Shift

Performs computed tomography exams and procedures with maximal image quality, patient safety and comfort while maintaining the lowest possible radiation exposure. Exams and procedures include all parts of the vasculature structures and organ systems.

Required Skills

• Technical skills in computed tomography
• Knowledge of all vasculature and organ systems
• Knowledge of all CT guided invasive procedures
• Skilled in the use of contrast agents
• Basic patient care and assessment techniques
• Knowledgeable in radiation physics, radiation biology, radiation protection and medical terminology.
• High degree of accuracy in positioning and radiation exposure techniques

Required Experience

Required:

• State of California CRT
• ARRT certification in CT
• Venipuncture certification and/or documentation of training
• CPR/BLS
• Clinical training - Three (3) years' experience in diagnostic radiography in an acute care facility
• One (1) year in a CT setting of an acute care facility

Preferred:

• Three (3) years' experience scanning in CT in an acute care facility
• Fluoroscopy certification
