Job summary

Tri-Imaging Solutions in Nashville, TN seeks a CT Technician III to lead complex CT system work and serve as SME. This senior role requires independent judgment, mentoring of junior staff, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure top-quality imaging services.

You will diagnose advanced CT issues, manage part-level repairs, and drive ISO 13485 quality processes while coordinating the CT modality with the CT Modality Lead.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Biomedical Electronics, Electronics, or related technical field preferred.
• 4+ years of diagnostic imaging service or in-house technical experience with significant CT experience.
• Primary CT expertise; exposure to additional modalities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform advanced and complex CT system work with minimal supervision.
• Serve as the subject-matter expert (SME) and primary technical resource for CT.
• Lead or coordinate the CT modality as needed, organizing work and supporting team priorities.
• Diagnose and resolve complex, non-routine CT system and parts issues.
• Interpret test results to determine part functionality, quality, and appropriate disposition.
• Mentor, train, and provide technical guidance to Technician I and II staff.
• Answer team questions and serve as an escalation point below the CT Modality Lead.
• Execute complex part-level repairs and support or oversee CT system installation activities.
• Drive quality, consistency, and continuous-improvement initiatives within scope.
• Accurately document all work performed and review documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Escalate only the most complex, non-standard, or strategic issues to the CT Modality Lead.
• Create, review, and update work instructions and other quality-related documents, and follow all processes to ensure ISO 13485 compliance.
