Job summary

Tri-Imaging Solutions in Nashville, TN seeks a senior Computed Tomography (CT) Technician III to serve as the technical expert and team lead. You will perform advanced CT work independently and mentor junior staff, ensuring quality and ISO 13485 compliance.

You will diagnose complex CT system issues, coordinate modality activities, document results, and support CT installations while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Biomedical Electronics, Electronics, or related technical field preferred.
• 4+ years of diagnostic imaging service or in-house technical experience, with significant CT experience.
• Primary expertise in CT required; experience with additional modalities (MRI, X-ray, Ultrasound) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform advanced and complex technical work on CT systems and components with minimal supervision.
• Serve as the subject-matter expert (SME) and primary technical resource for CT.
• Lead or coordinate the CT modality as needed, organizing work and supporting team priorities.
• Diagnose and resolve complex, non-routine CT system and parts issues, including X-ray tubes, high-voltage generators, detectors/DAS, gantry and slip ring assemblies, collimators, and reconstruction computers.
• Interpret test results to determine part functionality, quality, and appropriate disposition.
• Mentor, train, and provide technical guidance to Technician I and II staff.
• Answer team questions and serve as an escalation point below the CT Modality Lead.
• Execute complex part-level repairs and support or oversee CT system installation activities.
• Drive quality, consistency, and continuous-improvement initiatives within scope.
• Accurately document all work performed and review documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Create, review, and update work instructions and other quality-related documents, and follow all processes to ensure ISO 13485 compliance.
