Job summary

The Perot Museum of Nature and Science is seeking a Creative Producer: Content & Exhibition Experiences to lead bold, story-driven live experiences and activations. You will translate science into engaging journeys, collaborate with scientists and designers, and shepherd bilingual English/Spanish content that resonates with diverse guests.

Reporting to the Vice President of Exhibitions, you will manage schedules, ensure accuracy, and drive a cohesive institution-wide narrative across exhibitions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and foundational understanding of informal science communication.
• At least 5 years of experience developing content for entertainment, themed experiences, TV/streaming production, exhibitions, or guest activations.
• Ability to pitch ideas, take notes, and run projects without losing sight of the bigger vision.
• Natural storyteller who balances technical precision with mission-driven narrative.
• Emerging project management skills and ability to lead multidisciplinary creative teams.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred to support broad community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the creative lead and showrunner for exhibition narratives and live experiences.
• Translate complex scientific principles into guest journeys and season arcs.
• Pitch bold activations that use science as the hook for all ages.
• Oversee bilingual content development and ensure scientific accuracy and accessibility.
• Manage internal and external content calendars and production schedules.
• Collaborate with exhibit managers, subject matter experts, and designers.
• Identify and manage freelance writers and creative consultants.
