Job summary

NUVACORE in Santa Clara is seeking a Design Verification Lead to head the verification of a high-performance, low-power CPU for next-generation compute workloads.

You will build test environments, develop test plans, run simulations, and deliver coverage and bug reports; experience with C, C++, SystemVerilog and emulation is valued.

This role requires leadership of large teams, deep verification knowledge across unit to system levels, and strong communication to drive sign-off on designs.

Qualifications

• Requires BS or MS in a related field and 15+ years in CPU verification.
• Experience with RISC-V, ARM64, or x86 ISA.
• Strong debugging and leadership skills in large teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead verification across pre-silicon and post-silicon phases.
• Build test environments and regression suites to stress CPU units, core, and system.
• Develop test plans, DV methodologies, and coverage metrics.
• Write tests in ASM, C, C++, or other languages.
• Triage issues and write detailed bug reports for the CPU team.
• Leverage formal methods and accelerated test environments (emulation).
