Job summary

Interior Specialists, Inc. is seeking an Installer to perform precise installation of solid surface products, including flooring and cabinetry, while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes workmanship, project adherence, and mentoring apprentices on site. Responsibilities include reviewing paperwork, using proper tools, keeping a clean work area, coordinating with operations, and ensuring timely project completion across dynamic construction sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction or installation is required.
• Ability to read blueprints, layouts, and installation docs.
• Strong communication, organization, and time‑management skills.

Responsibilities

• Install flooring, cabinetry, and solid surface products to spec.
• Review job paperwork and installation instructions before starting.
• Use proper tools to ensure precise measurements and finishes.
• Clean and inspect work area and identify defects before leaving site.
• Train and mentor apprentices to follow safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate with Operations for updates and scheduling.
• Maintain and inspect installation tools and company vehicles.
• Manage time to complete jobs within designated timelines.
• Escalate site challenges to management when needed.
• Adhere to safety standards and participate in training.
