Job summary

Delorie Countertops & Doors, Inc. is hiring an Installer Helper / Apprentice in Florida to join our growing countertop team. You will support the Lead Installer, handle materials, and learn through hands-on training in a fast-paced environment.

This full-time role offers paid training, a clear path to becoming a Lead Installer, and a schedule with stability. Previous installation experience helps, but a strong work ethic and positive attitude can win on-the-job readiness.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Comfortable working with hand and power tools.
• Construction, cabinetry, millwork, remodeling, or installation experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.

Previous installation or construction experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

• Assist the Lead Installer with countertop installations
• Load, unload, transport, and handle materials safely
• Use hand and power tools correctly and safely
• Help maintain clean and organized job sites
• Ensure installations are completed professionally and efficiently
• Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers

Compensation & Benefits

• $15–$18 per hour, based on experience
• Full-time, year‑round employment
• 9 paid holidays after 90 days
• After 1 year: 5 vacation days + 3 paid sick days
• After 2 years: 10 vacation days + 3 paid sick days
