Lead Countertop Installer

Location: Vero Beach, FL
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $18–$27 per hour, based on experience and skill level

We are looking for an experienced Lead Countertop Installer to join our team in Vero Beach, FL. The ideal candidate is a skilled countertop professional with hands‑on experience installing laminate, applied-edge laminate, postformed laminate, and Corian/acrylic solid-surface countertops.

Strong Corian/acrylic solid-surface installation experience is highly preferred.

This is a hands‑on lead position for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, can work independently, and is comfortable managing installations from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Perform countertop installations at residential and commercial job sites
• Install laminate countertops, including applied-edge and postformed laminate
• Install Corian and other acrylic solid-surface countertops
• Perform accurate field measurements and verify job-site conditions
• Make necessary scribe, seam, cutout, and fitting adjustments
• Complete seams, sanding, polishing, and finishing work to a high-quality standard
• Install sinks, backsplashes, and related countertop components
• Read work orders, drawings, measurements, and installation specifications
• Work with and assist helpers as needed during installations
• Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
• Identify and resolve installation issues in the field

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional countertop installation experience required
• Strong Corian/acrylic solid-surface experience highly preferred
• Extensive experience with laminate countertops
• Experience with applied-edge and postformed laminate countertops
• Ability to accurately measure, cut, fit, scribe, seam, sand, and finish countertops
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and manage an installation from start to finish
• Good communication and customer-service skills
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Ability to lift materials and perform physical installation work

Background Check Required

Because we perform installations for large national home-improvement retailers and other large-box stores, all qualified candidates must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by our retail partners and job-site access requirements.
