Job summary

Signature Health Inc. is seeking a Lead Counselor for Gambling Services to provide therapy to adults and children, supervise 20+ clinicians, and guide training and clinical direction across SH locations.

The role emphasizes gambling competency, evidence‑informed screening, assessment, referral and treatment, with strong community engagement. The position requires a Master’s degree, Ohio licensure, BLS, and experience in gambling and addiction treatment; telehealth may be part of duties.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required.
• Licensed in Ohio (LISW‑S / LPCC‑S / LIMFT‑S / LICDC‑CS) required.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of insurance required.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• Experience treating gambling, mental health, and substance use disorders.
• Gambling trained status or higher required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, or family therapy for adults and children.
• Supervise staff and provide clinical consultation for gambling services.
• Lead community outreach and training initiatives related to problem gambling.
• Coordinate grant‑funded treatment and prevention activities within budget and timelines.
• Represent Signature Health in coalitions and with schools, jails, and community orgs.
