Job summary

Safran Cabin is seeking a Cost Accountant Lead to manage production costing for all divisions within Safran Cabin Inc. and Cabin Materials. You will analyze material, labor, and other costs to determine production costs, assist with period closings, and provide actionable financial insights.

The role requires strong cost accounting knowledge, BOM/Routings expertise, and advanced Excel skills, with cross-functional collaboration across sites and a focus on continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting and BOM/Routings.
• Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and inventory costing.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze data to determine production costs: variance analysis, COGS analysis, standard cost and overhead/labor rate calculations.
• Assist Controllers with cost accounting analyses and period closing.
• Maintain BOM & Routings for cost validation and part-number cost rolls.
• Prepare financial reports and provide recommendations based on data.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and findings.
