Job summary

Bureau of Prisons/Federal Prison System is seeking a Clinical Leader to direct medical, dental, and allied health services for inmates. The role involves coordinating a multi-disciplinary team and ensuring clinical operations run smoothly, with emphasis on safety and re-entry planning.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the Health Services Administrator (HSA), the Clinical Director, and AHSA to manage a multi-disciplinary team providing medical, dental, and allied health services to inmates.
• Oversees daily clinic operations, emergency services, and management of inmates with chronic illnesses.
• Plans purchases and contracts for supplies, equipment, specialty care or ancillary services; maintains inventory levels; supports re-entry initiatives and health data entry at admission and exit.
