Job summary

CFG Health Systems, LLC is seeking a Physician to serve as the lead medical provider at Camden County Jail, overseeing inmate health services during the 3–11 pm shift. The role requires directing clinical activities, ensuring compliance with NCCHC and ACA standards, and coordinating with the Health Services Administrator.

The Physician will collaborate with facility staff to maintain high quality patient care, document care thoroughly, and participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of a US-based residency program.
• Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the facility's state.
• Unrestricted DEA and CDS prescriptive authority.

Responsibilities

• Lead physician at a correctional facility, overseeing medical program activities.
• Collaborate with the Health Services Administrator to ensure inmate patient care delivery.
• Act as liaison between correctional officials, public agencies, and CFG Health Systems.
• Perform and document routine physical examinations and coordinate care per NCCHC/ACA/PBNDS standards.
• Supervise the Medical Unit and establish policies, procedures and care protocols for detainees.
