Job summary

Cal Poly is seeking a Lead Coordinator for Student Success Initiatives to oversee the BEACoN Research Program and the CIX student intern team, supporting university-wide efforts that expand student success and equitable access.

The role manages program operations, faculty and student engagement, budget, communications, and growth, and aligns with cross-campus partnerships including Cal Poly Solano. It also handles financial planning to sustain strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a four-year college or university with three years of technical or administrative experience; graduate degree may substitute.
• Ability to take initiative, plan, organize, coordinate and perform complex administrative and program work.
• Thorough knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulations and the capacity to apply them.
• Skill in researching, developing, and evaluating program policies using data.
• Experience with budgeting, procurement, and vendor/payments processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee BEACoN Research Program operations, faculty and student engagement.
• Coordinate program operations, recruitment, communications, budget management, and growth.
• Oversee the CIX student intern program and support HSIs, BSSI, mini-grants and cross-campus partnerships.
• Independently manage financial and operational processes to sustain and scale initiatives.
