AllSearch Staffing Group seeks a Lead Cooling Tower Technician for Mountainside, NJ. The role focuses on advanced mechanical troubleshooting, major equipment repairs, and field-service leadership on cooling tower projects.

You will lead maintenance, diagnose motors and drives, and supervise crews. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday with rare weekend rotation; strong emphasis on safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of cooling tower service, HVAC maintenance, or related skilled trade experience.
• Hands-on experience with motors, gearboxes, pumps, belts, and mechanical drives.

Responsibilities

• Lead cooling tower maintenance and repair projects, including mechanical troubleshooting and equipment installation.
• Diagnose and repair motors, gearboxes, pumps, bearings, belts, pulleys, fans, and mechanical drives.
• Oversee field-service crews and coordinate repair projects ensuring safety and quality standards.
• Prepare inspection reports, service documentation, and corrective action recommendations.
