Responsibilities
  1. Schedule and assign daily work activities to staff and supervise task completion.
  2. Train staff on job duties, food safety, sanitation, and cooking methods.
  3. Cook and prepare food following recipes and guidelines, ensuring safety and sanitation.
  4. Set up workstations with ingredients and equipment.
  5. Prepare ingredients by measuring, chopping, and assembling.
  6. Safely handle utensils including knives.
  7. Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, and mixers.
  8. Cook using various methods like baking, roasting, broiling, steaming.
  9. Garnish and portion food according to guidelines.
  10. Store food properly following safety policies.
  11. Clean and sanitize work areas and utensils.
  12. Maintain excellent customer service and a positive attitude.
  13. Follow safety policies including food safety and sanitation.
  14. Ensure security of assets.
  15. Maintain work schedules and production records.
  16. Perform other duties as assigned.
Education

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Qualifications
  1. At least 3 years of experience as a cook or related role.
  2. Must pass a criminal background check.
  3. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Licenses

Food safety certification.
