Job summary

Montecitohc in Los Angeles is seeking a Nutrition Services Supervisor to oversee meal preparation for residents, ensuring meals meet federal, state and corporate standards and are safe and nutritious.

You will supervise staff in the absence of the Director of Nutritional Services, attend required meetings, and uphold resident rights while maintaining a professional image with consumers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Basic understanding of cleanliness, organization and safety.
• Prior food service and/or long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares meals and supplements for residents in a timely manner per Federal, State and Corporate requirements.
• Performs duties in a safe and sanitary manner.
• Supervises staff in the absence of the Director of Nutritional Services.
• Attends meetings and in-services as required.
• Presents a professional image to consumers through dress, behavior and speech.
• Adheres to Company standards for resolving consumer concerns.
• Ensures all patient/resident rights are protected.
