Job summary

Sauk Prairie Healthcare is seeking a Cook responsible for preparing meals for patients, employees, visitors and mobile meals. You will follow approved menus, ensure nutritional and aesthetic quality, and maintain high food-safety standards in a busy hospital setting.

duties include training culinary aides, leading meal service, and assisting with inventory and catering for events. 1–2 years in food prep is preferred and ServSafe Manager Certification is required within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: 1–2 years in food prep/related role; leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and plate meals for patients, staff, visitors and events.
• Follow approved menus, recipes and food safety guidelines.
• Order supplies, assist with inventory and reduce waste.
