Job summary

Park Avenue Healthcare & Wellness Centre is seeking a candidate to prepare nutritious meals and supplements for residents in accordance with federal, state, and corporate requirements.

The role requires good verbal communication, ability to read and write English, and a basic understanding of cleanliness and safety. Prior food service or long-term care experience is preferred and supervision may be required in the director's absence.

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritious meals and supplements for residents in a timely and safe manner.
• Perform duties in a safe and sanitary manner.
• Supervise staff in the absence of the Director of Nutritional Services.
• Attend meetings and in-services as required.
• Present a professional image to consumers through dress, behavior and speech.
• Adhere to company standards for resolving consumer concerns.
• Ensure all patient/resident rights are protected.
