Job summary

Healthcare Center of Fresno is seeking staff to prepare nutritious meals and supplements for residents in accordance with Federal, State and Corporate guidelines. Duties include safe, sanitary food handling and assisting in supervising dietary staff in the director's absence.

Applicants should have good verbal communication, English reading/writing ability, and a basic understanding of cleanliness and safety; prior food service and long-term care experience is preferred to ensure smooth

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritious and attractive meals and supplements for residents according to Federal, State and Corporate requirements.
• Perform duties in a safe and sanitary manner.
• Supervise staff in the absence of the Director of Nutritional Services.
• Attend meetings and in-services as required.
• Present professional image to consumers through dress, behavior and speech.
• Adheres to Company standards for resolving consumer concerns.
• Ensures all patient/resident rights are protected.
