Job summary

Eurest in West Des Moines, IA is seeking a Senior Cook for a full-time role with a Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–3:00 pm schedule. Lead cook experience is required and will manage cooking activities under the Food Service Director.

Qualifications

• Lead cook experience required.
• Ability to prepare entrées and follow recipes.
• Knowledge of HACCP and health/safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cooking activities as assigned by the Food Service Director.
• Prepare various entrées and menu items following established recipes.
• Operate and clean equipment after use; perform routine cleaning.
• Store, label and date food items; maintain organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated/frozen products.
• Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
• Comply with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department procedures.
• Assist in maintaining accurate daily production records and completing required documentation.
• Assist in cross-training of employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
