Job summary

Fusion Healthcare Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Brockton, MA is seeking a dedicated kitchen supervisor to oversee daily food service for residents, coordinate menus, train cooks, and ensure high quality meals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Formal culinary training program completed.
• 3+ years experience as line cook in medium-high volume setting (100+ meals).
• 3+ years supervising a minimum of 5 employees.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates menus and directs training of cooks and kitchen staff with Registered Dietitian.
• Prepares meals, cooks and serves food maintaining high quality and appearance.
• Manages cost containment, inventory and ordering of food and supplies.
• Maintains kitchen and food safety standards per County and State requirements.
• Responsible for kitchen and dining room sanitation and cleanliness.
• Hires, trains, supervises and orients dietary department staff and counsels when necessary.
• Works with Registered Dietitian to meet clinical requirements for residents.
