Job summary

NUTRITION MANAGEMENT SERVICES is seeking a Diet Aide Supervisor to oversee daily food preparation and service in a healthcare facility. You will train Diet Aides, ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and portion control while maintaining equipment and storage areas.

The role requires knowledge of sanitary procedures, ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends, and collaboration with the Food Service Director on menus and recipes. A strong team focus is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service or a related field is a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Diet Aides and monitor daily work performance.
• Train staff using company procedures for food handling and sanitation.
• Prepare and cook food using standardized recipes and portioning.
• Ensure proper temperatures and temperatures during serving.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and storage areas.
• Confer with the Food Service Director on menus, recipes, and assignments.
• Follow Kosher guidelines when indicated and wear appropriate uniforms.
