• Supervise staff in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor.
• Read and follow recipes in English.
• Maintain hygiene and safety per health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food served to Residents, staff, families, and visitors.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, and stocking groceries from vendors.
• Prepare meals that are high quality, tasty, nutritious, and properly heated.
• Accommodate special dietary needs for Residents.
• Train Cooks and Dietary Aids as directed.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene and comply with health department rules.
• Perform routine cleaning and equipment maintenance.
• Attend meetings and report safety hazards to the Supervisor.
• Be flexible to cover additional shifts or positions as needed.
