Wegmans Food Markets is seeking a kitchen leader to guide a team of cooks, develop talent, and drive profitable, smooth kitchen operations. Your culinary expertise and leadership will set the standard for quality and service across the store kitchen.

You will mentor cooks, ensure recipe adherence, and translate product knowledge into customer meal ideas while maintaining safety, quality, and performance standards in a people-first environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of prep or line cook experience.
• Experience leading a team.
• Food safety and quality assurance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist the sous chefs in running the kitchen and overseeing the team.
• Follow recipes, apply knife skills, and cooking techniques to ensure consistency.
• Suggest meal ideas using Wegmans products to customers.
• Manage employee performance, training, feedback and development opportunities.
