Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking a qualified cook for our Texas facilities. The role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, substantial high-volume cooking experience, and ability to plan menus, prepare and serve meals.

Travel may be required, and adherence to the Compliance Program and Code of Conduct is expected. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, or relevant cook experience, and Texas food handler certification.

7. Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHS's Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at required training and immediately reporting suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer.

Education / Licensure

1. Certified by the City of McAllen or Edinburg (depending on facility employed) or accredited by the State of Texas and ANSI-the American National Standard Institute as a food handler
2. High School diploma, GED or Higher Education required; or at least four years of prior experience as a Cook considered in lieu of a degree.
