Job summary

Marriott Vacations Worldwide is seeking a kitchen associate responsible for preparing meals, regulating oven and equipment temperatures, and ensuring portion control and garnish quality. The role requires maintaining logs and communicating needs to the Chef, while supporting the team in busy periods.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, enforcing safety policies, and assisting with scheduling and training to maintain high standards of service and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation and kitchen sanitation.
• Ability to follow recipes and presentation standards.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals and alternate menu items as directed.
• Regulate oven, broiler, grill and roaster temperatures.
• Maintain proper portioning, garnishing and food logs.
• Inform Chef of excess or low items for specials.
• Assist management with hiring, training and coaching staff.
• Ensure high quality and consistency of food served.
• Support service staff during peak times.
