Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous supervisor experience in a related role preferred.
• Experience as a cook or related role required.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Knowledge of food preparation methods and food safety regulations.
• Food safety certification required.
• Basic math and counting skills.
• Effective interpersonal and verbal/written communication.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and assigns daily work activities to staff and supervises tasks.
• Trains and guides staff on food safety, sanitation, and cooking methods.
• Cooks and prepares food following guidelines and recipes.
• Sets up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling.
• Safely uses all food utensils including knives.
• Operates ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers and more.
• Bakes, roasts, broils, steams, and uses various cooking methods.
• Arranges, garnishes, and portions food following guidelines.
• Stores food per safety policies.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas and equipment.
• Maintains excellent customer service with a positive attitude.
• Follows Aramark safety policies and ensures asset security.
• Produces and maintains work schedules and production records.
