Job summary

BlueStar Resort & Golf is seeking a Cook 4 for The Canyons Castle Pines to join the Food & Beverage Team. You will prepare, cook, and plate menu items, train new staff, and ensure quality and service standards are met. The position reports to the Kitchen Manager or Executive Chef.

The role requires three years of cooking experience, a valid Food Handlers card, and a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Comprehensive benefits are offered to full-time staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years’ cooking experience in a commercial kitchen.
• Current Food Handlers card.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.
• Good verbal communication and ability to speak before groups.

Responsibilities

• Master all kitchen stations and plating responsibilities.
• Supervise staff learning of stations and standard recipes.
• Lead a kitchen service and monitor tickets and temperatures.
• Assist in developing weekly and daily specials.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
