Tigg's Canteen Services is seeking a Dual Full-Time Permanent Lead Cook to work at Grand Traverse County Jail and Leelanau County Jail in Traverse City, Michigan. This is a leadership role in a kitchen, responsible for directing inmates, preparing meals, and maintaining safety and sanitation.

The position offers a starting pay of $21.00 per hour and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Leading, directing, and assisting inmates within the kitchen.

What You'll Do

• Ability to work weekends and holidays
• Flexibility to work varying days and hours, approximately 10:00 AM-6:00 PM
• Must be able to obtain clearance and approval to work inside the facility

Previous food service or kitchen experience is a plus, but it is not required. We are willing to train the right person!

Salary: $21.00 per hour
