SodexoMagic is hiring a Lead Cook at Merck - SSF CA, USA. In this role you will prepare nutritious dishes with a focus on customer service, work as part of a team, and support kitchen operations during breakfast, lunch, dinner, and events.

Strong reliability and food safety are essential to ensure daily quality. You will contribute to a positive dining experience, handle various cooking stations, and collaborate with management to maintain high standards and a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner or Special/Catered Events.
• Read and follow basic recipes and product directions for preparing various food items.
• May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station.
• May support management in daily oversight of key functions and employees.
