Sodexo Live in the ORDA - Whiteface Mountain location is seeking a Lead Cook who thrives in a team setting and is committed to reducing food waste while delivering high‑quality meals.

You will prepare and present a variety of hot and cold items for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, read recipes, support daily operations, and provide friendly service with a focus on safety and cleanliness.

Formación

• Team-oriented, adaptable and reliable; committed to maintaining a healthy and safe working environment.
• 3–4 years of related work experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present hot and/or cold items for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and catered events.
• Read and follow basic recipes and product directions.
• May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte station or operate a grill.
• Support management in daily oversight during normal business operations.
• Attend scheduled shifts on time with regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned per client Requirements.

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $24.00 - $29.00

What You’ll Do

As a Lead Cook at Sodexo Live, you are a team player and food waste reducer. You’ll prepare and create nutritious dishes while putting customer service at the heart of everything you do. Your passion for food and warm smile will make a positive impact and brighten the day of those you serve.

Responsibilities include

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods, may include Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
• Read and follow basic recipes and/or product directions for preparing various food items
• May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station
• May support management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
