Job summary

Sodexo Live is hiring a Cook at the Charleston Coliseum & Convention Center in Charleston, WV. This part-time position focuses on preparing nutritious dishes and delivering strong customer service.

You will prepare, portion, cook, and present hot and cold items, follow recipes, and may work a la carte or on a grill. Punctuality and teamwork are essential, with benefits and training provided where applicable.

• Team-oriented and adaptable, reliable, with a focus on a healthy/safe work environment.
• 0–2 years of related kitchen experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, cook, and present hot and/or cold items for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
• Read and follow basic recipes and product directions.
• May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station.
• Attend shifts on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned based on business needs.

Responsibilities include:

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods, may include Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
• Read and follow basic recipes and/or product directions for preparing various food items
• May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
