Job summary

Smurfit WestRock in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a Converting Production Manager to lead a manufacturing team and drive safe, efficient production. You will coordinate activities, set objectives, manage volumes, quality, safety, inventory and on-time delivery.

You will analyze production data, revise schedules, collaborate with the GM, maintain relationships with the union, and develop leaders among Supervisors while ensuring adherence to Smurfit WestRock standards and customer commitments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in the corrugated/converting industry.
• Knowledge of machinery and how to identify issues and troubleshoot equipment.
• Lean and continuous improvement experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively to all employees and customers, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe and clean work environment and ensure adherence to policies.
• Manage production scheduling and priorities; adapt to equipment issues and customer demands.
• Review production metrics and drive improvements to quality, safety, and on-time delivery.
• Develop leaders among Supervisors and monitor progress against goals.
• Collaborate with General Manager to implement operating methods and procedures.
