Job summary

E Tech Group in Ohio is seeking a Lead Controls Engineer to support design, deployment, testing, and maintenance of control system projects. You will implement, test, and startup technical solutions and collaborate with customers and teammates to deliver the best outcomes.

This role requires traveling 30-50% and adapting to a flexible schedule, with onsite and remote support to ensure successful deployments at client facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in the control system industry.
• Able to work independently on projects with a organized approach.
• Basic understanding of control system network topologies.
• Instrumentation calibration/startup experience.
• Experience commissioning in live environments.
• Willingness to travel 30-50% (mostly local with remote support).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a team member supporting project execution from design through implementation.
• Develop/modify design documentation including drawings, procedures, sequences, testing scripts.
• Perform quality checks and bench testing of PLC, HMI, & SCADA programs.
• Provide onsite and remote support for commissioning and design changes.
• Coordinate with installation teams to monitor progress and QA/QC installation.
• Travel as needed to participate in design, development and startup at client sites.
• Be an ambassador for core values and collaborative teamwork.
