Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Controls Engineer to execute control systems for our advanced warehouse conveyor networks. You will partner with operations, maintenance, and IT to optimize efficiency, reliability, and safety in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications include a B.S. in electrical or mechanical engineering (master’s preferred) and 2+ years in controls with PLCs/SCADA. Overnight travel is typical; the role reports to the Controls Engineering leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering; master’s preferred.
• 2+ years in controls engineering; 4+ years preferred.
• Experience with PLCs and SCADA.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead or assist in control systems design projects, on-time and within budget.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance and IT to ensure project execution.
• Code control systems for conveyors; perform feasibility studies and cost analyses.
