Qualifications

• Formal degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant engineering field.
• Strong foundation in feedback control, dynamics, stability, and discrete-time implementation.
• Practical experience modeling, system identification, and experimental validation.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python (or MATLAB) for analysis and development.
• Ability to diagnose problems across software, sensors, actuators, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop machine control algorithms and tune controllers for autonomous motion.
• Translate motion targets into coordinated actuator commands with dynamics in mind.
• Improve tracking accuracy, responsiveness, and stability across conditions.
• Design and run experiments to characterize actuator response and delays.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and safety teams to integrate controllers.
