Job summary
Thermo Systems in East Windsor, NJ—onsite full-time Controls Engineer III role leading automation projects across industrial environments. You will guide design, integration, testing, and commissioning, collaborating with project managers and field teams to ensure safe, reliable delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
- 4+ years in industrial automation or controls engineering.
- Experience leading engineering tasks or small projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead start-up and commissioning of control systems.
- Perform FAT for automation systems.
- Interpret P&IDs and wiring diagrams and provide feedback on field conditions.
- Develop and implement HMI and PLC-based automation solutions.
- Contribute to design and implementation of complex control systems.
- Provide instrumentation specifications for automation designs.
- Review technical documentation for accuracy and quality.
- Deliver assigned tasks on schedule and within scope.
- Identify and resolve potential technical challenges proactively.
