Tenth Revolution Group is partnering with a leading manufacturing organization to hire a Controls & Automation Engineer who will lead automation and capital improvement projects in a complex industrial environment. This role focuses on boosting efficiency, reliability, safety, and productivity across plant operations.

You will design, develop, and optimize control systems, analyze data to identify improvements, and provide technical support to production and maintenance teams while managing

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in controls, automation, or manufacturing engineering.
• Strong PLC programming experience.
• Experience with HMI development and industrial control systems.
• Working knowledge of AC/DC drives and industrial networking.
• Familiarity with robotics, material handling systems, and process automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation and controls projects from concept through implementation, commissioning, and project closeout.
• Design, develop, and optimize control systems to improve manufacturing processes and equipment performance.
• Analyze operational data to identify opportunities for process improvement and increased throughput.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for production and maintenance teams.
• Configure, standardize, and optimize PLC, HMI, and control system applications.
• Serve as a technical liaison between operations, maintenance, engineering teams, and equipment suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and engineering best practices.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
• Develop business cases for automation investments and process improvement initiatives.
• Support continuous improvement efforts and other engineering projects as assigned.
