Lead Systems Engineer

This role is ideal for someone aspiring to be a lead controls and automation engineer, with experience in Emerson DeltaV within a life sciences environment. Formal and on-the-job DeltaV training may be provided for candidates experienced with other distributed control systems in manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide technical support for automation systems, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis for system failures.
2. Develop and implement automation change control procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
3. Maintain relationships with stakeholders, including client representatives, engineering teams, and vendors.
4. Participate in project planning and execution, offering technical guidance to ensure success.
5. Lead initiatives for continuous improvement of automation systems, optimizing efficiency.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of controls and automation engineering experience in a life sciences setting.
• Experience with Emerson DeltaV or similar DCS platforms.
• Strong project management skills, capable of managing complex projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
