Job summary

Thermo Systems is seeking a Control Systems Project Engineer I for onsite work in Montgomery, AL. You will lead project tasks and provide engineering support on medium to large control system projects, taking ownership and guiding project outcomes.

Responsibilities include startup, FAT coordination, instrumentation specs, and ensuring compliance with the company’s QMS while delivering customer-focused results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science or related with relevant experience.
• Typically, 4+ years total experience.
• 2+ years as Lead Control Systems Engineer or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform start-up and commissioning of control systems.
• Lead FAT and review drawings vs field conditions.
• Provide instrumentation specifications for complex control systems.
• Demonstrate understanding of IT and network aspects in control integration.
