Job Summary:
As a Lead Control System Technician I you will coordinate on-site installation, start-up, and commissioning of full life-cycle control-system packages on our Meta data-center portfolio. You’ll mentor technicians, interface with clients and vendors, and troubleshoot everything from PLCs and HMIs to instrumentation and networks. Proven performance in this role is the springboard to LCST II and Engineering leadership.

Technical Responsibilities:
• Assist and be self-sufficient in project installation, start-up, and commissioning.
• Lead and perform Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
Instrumentation & Wiring
• Perform instrument loop checks and calibrations.
• Wire instruments and control panels.
Troubleshooting & Maintenance
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair control systems.
• Demonstrate and apply basic understanding of HMI & PLC applications.
• Start up and debug HMI and PLC programs.
Drawings & QA
• Read and interpret P&IDs and wiring diagrams.
• Practice procedures outlined in the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Accurately document all work performed.
Technical Knowledge Growth
• Demonstrate basic understanding of control-system, electrical, mechanical, and IT/network design.
• Seek accredited control-systems certifications and training opportunities.
