Job summary

Sharks Sports and Entertainment, LLC in San Jose, CA seeks a Control Room Technician 2 to operate key control room systems during games, concerts, and rental events. This part-time, non-exempt mid-level role leads in its area and mentors Technician 1s.

You will manage cameras/shading/PTZ, replay, playback, LED signage, lighting, audio, CG, and TD equipment, troubleshoot issues on shows, and coordinate with the Control Room Lead and Production Manager.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1-3 years experience in live event production.
• Proven independence operating gear in high-pressure environments.
• Availability for evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Clear communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate core systems: cameras/shading/PTZ, replay, playback, LED signage, lighting, audio, CG, TD.
• Troubleshoot issues during shows.
• Mentor new team members.
• Coordinate with Control Room Lead and Production Manager during events.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
