Job summary

Cognia is seeking a Content Specialist II to lead test development for multiple assessment programs remotely in the United States. You will create and refine items, develop blueprints, and coordinate with project teams including Graphics, Publications, and others to ensure timely delivery.

Required are a Bachelor's in Education and 5+ years in educational assessment with content development experience; English/Language Arts focus is essential. Master’s in Education preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in Education with test development experience.
• Experience in educational assessment and English/Language Arts focus.
• Master's degree in Education preferred; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to content concept, specs, and new assessment products.
• Develop and refine item specifications and test blueprints.
• Coordinate schedules with Graphics and Publications teams.
• Train item writers and provide feedback to colleagues.
• Review content for alignment to standards and psychometrics.
• Facilitate advisory committee meetings and item analysis.
