Responsibilities

Description & Requirements

The Performance Improvement Healthcare Consulting team helps healthcare organizations achieve sustainable results by addressing margin erosion through targeted improvement strategies. By aligning strategic, operational, and financial initiatives, they identify opportunities and support leadership in implementing impactful changes. With a focus on strengthening margins, the team empowers providers to fulfill their mission and thrive in today’s evolving healthcare environment.

What You Will Do:

• Provide guidance to clients on 340B and pharmacy operations, including:
• 340B Operational Assistance: Split-billing vendor implementations and maintenance (e.g., Drug Crosswalk Maintenance).
• 340B Compliance Assessments: Independent Assessments; HRSA audit experience is a plus.
• Pharmacy and 340B Policy and Procedure Development.
• 340B Network Expansion: Development of contract pharmacy arrangements, child sites, direct purchases, orphan drugs, and other opportunities.
• Medicare Negotiated Price Tracking and Reconciliation
• Development of 340B Rebate Model Process
• Oversee development and delivery of client-specific policies, procedures, workflows, training, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to internal readiness assessments and mock audits, identify compliance risks, and manage mitigation plans with measurable outcomes.
• Support business development efforts, including proposal creation, scope design, and client presentations.
• Advise, communicate, and present to all organizational levels, including C-suite, management, and pharmacy staff.
• Provide in-depth process knowledge and leadership to clients, ensuring an exceptional client experience and identifying additional value-added services.
• Actively participate in healthcare industry groups (e.g., Apexus, 340B Health, HFMA, ASHP, ACHE).

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Pharmacy, Technology, Health Services Administration, or a related field
• 4+ years of relevant healthcare experience in healthcare consulting, pharmaceutical industry, or hospital environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with IT platforms, spreadsheets, databases, and automated audit systems.
• Ability to travel up to 50%, based on client commitments

Preferred Qualifications:

• Data Analytics and development
• Prior Consulting experience
• Data visualization experience in PowerBI or Tableau
