Job summary

Forvis Mazars, LLP is seeking a Lead Consultant, Healthcare Performance Improvement to drive cross-functional initiatives, analyze data, and develop actionable strategies that unlock client savings and margin improvements in healthcare. The role covers multiple US locations, including Nashville, with up to 50% travel.

You will oversee spend analytics, benchmarking, and financial analyses, present findings to executives, and guide clients through implementation of supply chain and non-labor cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Healthcare, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 4+ years of healthcare experience with data analysis, benchmarking, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office products.
• Ability to travel to client sites up to 50% of the time.

What You Will Do

• Lead cross-functional initiatives to analyze data, conduct market research, and develop actionable strategies that drive client savings and operational efficiency
• Oversee spend analytics and category assessments to uncover high-impact sourcing opportunities and inform strategic sourcing decisions
• Direct benchmarking efforts and financial analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities across supply chain and non-labor spend categories
• Manage the development and delivery of key project artifacts, including project plans, implementation of roadmaps, communication strategies, and financial models; present findings and recommendations to executive stakeholders
• Guide clients through the implementation of supply chain and non-labor initiatives, ensuring alignment with financial goals and operational objectives
• Collaborate with all levels of management, both internally and at client sites
• Serve as a primary liaison with senior leadership, both internally and at client organizations, to ensure alignment, transparency, and stakeholder engagement throughout project lifecycles

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Healthcare, Supply Chain, or a related field
• 4+ years of relevant healthcare experience, including data analysis, benchmarking, financial analysis, and/or identification of cost-saving opportunities
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products
• Ability to travel to client sites up to 50% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree
• Experience in healthcare supply chain, strategic sourcing, spend analytics, contract management, and/or non-labor cost reduction
• Prior consulting experience
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization and analytics tools
