Job summary

Travel 50%–80% is expected depending on client needs. The ideal candidate will combine deep coding and health information management knowledge with consulting, operational improvement, or transformation experience to improve coding accuracy,

Qualifications

• Five+ years of healthcare consulting or related experience.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in health information management, healthcare administration, or related field; RHIA/RHIT/CCS/CPC/CIC credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage coding and middle revenue cycle engagements and workstreams.
• Lead assessments of coding, health information management, and related operations.
• Develop project charters, work plans, staffing and budgets, and benefit realization models.
• Manage project teams, review analyses, and monitor scope, budgets, and timelines.
• Present findings and recommendations to client leadership.
• Collaborate across BRG’s coding, documentation, revenue integrity, and analytics teams.
